JUMO

Temperature measurement is the origin of JUMO, founded in 1948 in Fulda, Germany, as a maker of glass thermometers. Today the catalog covers sensors and transmitters for temperature, pressure, level and liquid analysis, plus controllers and recorders. Seven Star LLC lists JUMO RTD probes, pressure and differential pressure transmitters, pH, conductivity, turbidity and dissolved oxygen instruments, and sources them for plants in Oman.

Seven Star LLC lists JUMO RTD probes, pressure and differential pressure transmitters, pH, conductivity, turbidity and dissolved oxygen instruments, and sources them for plants in Oman.

JUMO product families listed

JUMO uses family names that recur across the catalog:

  • dTRANS: transmitters, including dTRANS T01 and T100 for temperature, dTRANS p02 DELTA for differential pressure, and dTRANS pH 02 and CR 02 for liquid analysis
  • Wtrans: wireless probes and transmitters, such as Wtrans T for RTD temperature and Wtrans p for pressure
  • digiLine and ecoLine: digital and optical analysis sensors, for example the digiLine O-DO S10 dissolved oxygen sensor and the ecoLine NTU turbidity sensor
  • NESOS: float-based level transmitters and switches
  • RTD temperature probes: screw-in types such as 902030 and mineral-insulated designs

Where JUMO sensors are used

JUMO sensors and transmitters are typical of food and beverage lines, water and wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical utilities, heating and cooling systems, and packaged machinery supplied to the GCC by European builders. Many requests are for a like-for-like replacement of a probe fitted by the machine maker, where length, thread and connector have to match exactly.

Ordering JUMO parts: what we need

JUMO identifies each product group by a six-digit type number, such as 902030, followed by an order code that fixes the options. The label of the delivered item normally carries a part number as well. Send whichever you have, ideally both, or a photo of the label. For JUMO temperature probes add insertion length, diameter, process connection, sensor type and wiring. For JUMO pressure sensors state range, output, process connection and electrical connector. For analysis sensors name the transmitter they connect to and the cable length.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do the numbers on a JUMO label mean?
The six-digit number, for example 902030 or 404304, is the type or data sheet number of the product group. The string after it is the order code that defines range, connection, output and extras. The label of a delivered item normally shows a part number too. Any of these lets us find the exact version in JUMO documentation.
How do I specify a replacement JUMO RTD temperature probe?
Give the type number and order code if readable. Otherwise send the sensor element (Pt100, Pt500 or Pt1000), number of sensors, tolerance class, 2, 3 or 4-wire circuit, insertion length and tube diameter, process thread, and the electrical termination such as head, M12 connector or fixed cable with its length. The operating temperature range is also needed.
Which sensors can be connected to JUMO dTRANS pH 02 and CR 02 transmitters?
The dTRANS pH 02 is intended for pH and redox electrodes and the dTRANS CR 02 for conductive conductivity cells, each with matching temperature compensation probes. The input type depends on the ordered version of the transmitter. Send the transmitter order code and the electrode or cell data so the combination can be checked in the JUMO manuals.
What approvals does JUMO offer for hygienic and hazardous area use?
Selected JUMO probes and transmitters are offered in hygienic designs with documented materials and process connections for food and pharmaceutical lines, and certain series are available with explosion protection approval. Availability is specific to the type and the order code. State the required approval and connection standard in the inquiry so the correct version is identified.
Is Seven Star LLC a distributor of JUMO?
No. Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier and is not an authorized distributor or representative of JUMO. We source JUMO sensors, transmitters and controllers through commercial channels, verify the type number and order code against JUMO data sheets, and provide the manufacturer's datasheet and issued certificates with the order when requested.
