Pressure gauges give a local reading of pressure on pipes, pumps, compressors and vessels without power. Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat, supplies mechanical and digital pressure gauges from WIKA, Ashcroft, NOSHOK, Additel, Dwyer, Palmer Wahl, Murphy, Druck and Yokogawa to customers in Oman and the GCC.
Types of pressure gauge in this category
Bourdon tube gauges such as the WIKA 212.20, 213.53 (liquid filled), 232.30, 233.30 and 233.50 safety pattern, and NOSHOK 400/500 stainless gauges serve general and process duty. Diaphragm gauges like the WIKA 432.50 handle viscous and corrosive media, and differential gauges such as the WIKA 700.01, NOSHOK 1000 and Dwyer Magnehelic 2000 monitor filters and flow. Digital gauges and test gauges including the WIKA CPG1500, Ashcroft 2089, Additel ADT681A, Palmer Wahl DSPG and Druck DPI 705E are used for testing and calibration, and Murphy Swichgage instruments add alarm contacts.
How to select a pressure gauge
Choose a range so the normal reading is around the middle of the scale. Then select dial size, accuracy class, case and wetted materials, liquid filling for vibration and pulsation, and process connection and mounting. Add a diaphragm seal, snubber or siphon for difficult media or steam.
Data needed for a quotation
Send the gauge model, or range, dial size, accuracy class, materials, connection, filling and quantity.
What to include in your inquiry
These details let us quote the right item the first time.

Frequently Asked Questions
The normal working pressure should be in the middle third of the scale, and the maximum should not exceed about 75% of full scale for steady pressure.
Glycerine or silicone filling damps pointer vibration and pulsation and protects the movement, which suits pumps and compressors.
A gauge with a solid front wall and blow-out back, which protects the user if the measuring element fails.
For low pressures and for viscous, corrosive or crystallising media where a Bourdon tube could clog or corrode.
