Types of high-pressure cleaner in this category
Cold water machines such as the Kärcher HD 6/13 C Plus, HD 7/17 M Plus and HD 10/25-4 S Plus handle general cleaning, while ultra-high pressure cage units like the HD 9/50-4 and HD 13/35-4 remove stubborn deposits. Hot water machines such as the HDS 7/16 C, HDS 10/21-4 M, HDS 12/18-4 S and HDS 13/20-4 S cut grease and oil faster, and electric or diesel-heated versions like the HDS-E 8/16-4 M and HDS 1000 De suit sites without fuel or without power. The HG 64 hot water generator adds heating to existing cold water units.
How to select a high-pressure cleaner
Choose working pressure and flow for the dirt type: high flow rinses large areas, high pressure removes hard deposits. Hot water is better for oil and grease. Decide power supply (single or three phase, diesel engine), mobility, and whether a stationary or cage-frame unit suits the site.

Should I choose a hot or cold water pressure cleaner?
Hot water cleans oil and grease much faster and with less detergent. Cold water machines are lighter and cheaper for mud and loose dirt.
What does the model name HD 10/25 mean?
In Kärcher model names the first number is roughly the flow in hundreds of litres per hour and the second the pressure in tens of bar, so 10/25 is about 1,000 l/h at 250 bar.
Is there a diesel option for remote sites?
Yes. Diesel engine and diesel-heated models such as the HDS 1000 De work without mains power.
