FANUC ARC Mate 100iD Arc Welding Robot Supplied by Seven Star LLC

Welding Robots & Automation

Welding robots and automation equipment take over repetitive arc welding, holding torch angle, travel speed and stick-out the same on every part. This category currently lists one product for buyers in Oman, a six-axis arc welding robot from FANUC. Seven Star LLC is building this range gradually. Other robot models, positioners and related equipment can be sourced on request, and we check each configuration against the manufacturer documentation before quoting.

What a robotic arc welding cell consists of

The robot arm is one part of a working cell. A complete system also needs the robot controller and teach pendant, a welding power source with a robot interface, a wire feeder and robotic torch, a torch cleaning station, fixtures or a positioner to hold the part, and guarding with safety interlocks. Options such as touch sensing and through-arc seam tracking help the robot find and follow the joint when parts vary slightly. MIG/MAG is the most common robotic process, with TIG and plasma used on thin or high-quality work.

When robotic welding makes sense, and what to send us

Robots pay off on repeat parts with consistent fit-up, such as frames, brackets, skids and pipe supports made in batches. Fabricators in the GCC usually begin with one part family. Send part drawings with weights and dimensions, material and thickness, joint types, annual quantity, the welding process and wire, and the power source brand you prefer. Tell us if the arm alone or a wider scope is needed.

What to include in your inquiry

These details let us quote the right item the first time.

  • Welding process (MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA, SAW, plasma)
  • Current range and duty cycle
  • Supply voltage and phases
  • Material and thickness to be welded
  • Accessories needed (torch, wire feeder, cooler)

Missing some of them? Send what you have. A nameplate photo or an old part number is enough to start.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a welding robot supplied ready to weld?
Not by itself. An arc welding robot is a manipulator with a controller. To weld, it has to be combined with a welding power source, feeder, torch, fixtures and safety guarding, and then programmed for the part. This integration is normally carried out by a robot system integrator. We can supply the robot and the items the manufacturer lists for it.
Which parts are suitable for robotic welding?
Parts made repeatedly, with joints the torch can reach and fit-up that stays within about the wire diameter from piece to piece. Good cutting and bending upstream matter more than the robot itself. One-off fabrications with variable gaps are poor candidates, because a robot repeats its path and does not fill gaps the way a welder does.
What is the difference between an industrial welding robot and a collaborative robot?
An industrial robot is faster, carries more and works inside a guarded cell, which suits steady production. A collaborative robot limits force and speed so it can work near people after a risk assessment, and is usually programmed by guiding the arm by hand. Cobots suit small batches and frequent changeovers, with lower throughput per shift.
How do reach and payload affect robot selection?
Reach decides how large a part the torch can cover from one position, taking torch length and approach angles into account. Payload must cover the torch, cable package, any sensor and wire feeder mounted on the arm. Large parts are often handled by adding a positioner or a track instead of choosing a much longer arm.
What should I send to get a welding robot quoted?
Drawings or photos of the parts with dimensions and weight, material and thickness, joint types, weld length per part and quantity per year. State the process, wire and gas, the welding power source you want to use, and the supply voltage. Say if you need the arm and controller only, or also a positioner and torch package.
