Which components are meant by hot gas path parts?
They are the parts in contact with the hot combustion gas between the combustor and the turbine exhaust: combustion liners or baskets, transition pieces, fuel nozzles, turbine nozzles or vanes, blades or buckets, and shroud segments. Because they work at very high temperature, they are made from superalloys with protective coatings and have a defined inspection and replacement interval.
Why do you ask for the turbine serial number?
Units of the same model differ in configuration, upgrade status and combustion system, and part numbers change with each modification. The serial number, together with the part or drawing number and its revision, allows the reference to be checked for that specific unit. Without it there is a real risk of offering a part that belongs to a different build standard.
Can you source parts for gas turbine models that are not listed?
