Brand: JUMO
JUMO dTRANS T06 Four-Wire Rail Transmitter with SIL
Description
Universal four-wire transmitter for DIN-rail cabinets
The JUMO dTRANS T06 (type 707071) is a multifunctional four-wire transmitter in a DIN-rail case. It accepts RTD probes in 2-, 3- or 4-wire circuit, thermocouples including double thermocouples, resistance and potentiometer signals, and standard signals of 0(4) to 20 mA or 0 to 1/10 V, and it converts them to a galvanically isolated analog output of 0(4) to 20 mA or alternatively 0(2) to 10 V.
It is assessed to DIN EN 61508 and EN ISO 13849: the data sheet states it meets SIL 2 / SIL 3 and PL c / PL d with systematic capability SC = 3, with a TUV Nord certificate. A dot-matrix LCD with white backlight and a red/green status LED show the value, and extra codes add a limit-value relay with an RS485 Modbus RTU interface or a DNV GL approval.

Order code
The code reads 707071 / version / supply / extra codes. Version 8 is the standard unit with default settings and version 9 a configuration to customer specification given in plain text. Supply is 23 (AC 110 to 240 V) or 29 (DC 24 V, only to SELV or PELV circuits). Extra codes are 018 for the RS485 interface and limit relay, 058 for SIL and PL approval (yellow front foil) and 062 for DNV GL approval.
Scope of delivery is the transmitter and an operating manual; the setup program for the dTRANS T06 series (part no. 00668006), a 3 m USB cable (00616250) and a screw-on end clamp for the rail (00528648) are listed as accessories.
Why choose a four-wire rail unit
Where signals are collected in a panel and sensors are routed in long cables, a rail transmitter with isolated input, output and supply avoids ground loops, and the 4-wire sensor connection removes lead-resistance error. Linearisation variants (linear, temperature-linear, customer-specific) are selectable, and measuring-range limits can be set in steps of 0.1 K.
For field-mounted sensors use a head transmitter such as the dTRANS T07 or T05. Cold-junction compensation for thermocouples uses an internal Pt1000 or a fixed or external value according to the setting.
Documents and quotation
Please check the supply voltage, SIL extra code and output type before ordering, because the final code depends on the installation. The attached manufacturer file, JUMO dTRANS T06 data sheet 707071 (EN), carries the authoritative data. Send the code you selected and the quantity, and we respond with a written offer. About brand
Temperature measurement is the origin of JUMO, founded in 1948 in Fulda, Germany, as a maker of glass thermometers. Today the catalog covers sensors and transmitters for temperature, pressure, level and liquid analysis, plus controllers and recorders. Seven Star LLC lists JUMO RTD probes, pressure and differential pressure transmitters, pH, conductivity, turbidity and dissolved oxygen instruments, and sources them for plants in Oman.
JUMO product families listed
JUMO uses family names that recur across the catalog:
- dTRANS: transmitters, including dTRANS T01 and T100 for temperature, dTRANS p02 DELTA for differential pressure, and dTRANS pH 02 and CR 02 for liquid analysis
- Wtrans: wireless probes and transmitters, such as Wtrans T for RTD temperature and Wtrans p for pressure
- digiLine and ecoLine: digital and optical analysis sensors, for example the digiLine O-DO S10 dissolved oxygen sensor and the ecoLine NTU turbidity sensor
- NESOS: float-based level transmitters and switches
- RTD temperature probes: screw-in types such as 902030 and mineral-insulated designs
Where JUMO sensors are used
JUMO sensors and transmitters are typical of food and beverage lines, water and wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical utilities, heating and cooling systems, and packaged machinery supplied to the GCC by European builders. Many requests are for a like-for-like replacement of a probe fitted by the machine maker, where length, thread and connector have to match exactly.
Ordering JUMO parts: what we need
JUMO identifies each product group by a six-digit type number, such as 902030, followed by an order code that fixes the options. The label of the delivered item normally carries a part number as well. Send whichever you have, ideally both, or a photo of the label. For JUMO temperature probes add insertion length, diameter, process connection, sensor type and wiring. For JUMO pressure sensors state range, output, process connection and electrical connector. For analysis sensors name the transmitter they connect to and the cable length.
