JUMO LOGOSCREEN 601 Paperless Recorder with Touchscreen

Description

Touch-screen paperless recorder for process and furnace data

The JUMO LOGOSCREEN 601 (type 706521) is a paperless recorder with a 5.7 inch resistive TFT touch screen (640 x 480 pixels, 65 536 colours) and an icon-based operating concept. It is scalable: the base unit with no measuring inputs records 24 process values received through an interface, while option slots add up to six universal analog inputs, two analog outputs, 12 digital inputs and 12 individually switchable digital inputs/outputs, and a changeover relay is standard.

Up to six customer-specific process screens, each with up to 100 objects, can be built, and batch-related information can be attached for batch processes. A version with FDA-compliant data recording meets 21 CFR Part 11 requirements, and an AMS2750 / CQI-9 extra code supports heat-treatment documentation. A structured-text extra code allows individual measuring and recording applications.

Configuration and order code

The code runs from type 706521 through the software package (0 none, 1 with setup program, PCA3000 evaluation software, communication software and Audit Trail Manager), the language (8 default German/English), options 1 to 3 (1 analog/digital, 4 twelve digital I/O), the supply (23 or 25) and four groups of extra codes. Extra code 1 offers 260 (math and logic, 6 channels each) and 221 (structured text), extra code 2 offers 887 (manipulation detection with digital certificate) and 888 (FDA 21 CFR Part 11 with digital certificate), and extra code 3 offers 163 (PROFINET IO) and 879 (AMS2750 / CQI-9).

Extra code 970 adds a compact universal carrying case. The data sheet notes that subsequent expansion of option slots is only possible at JUMO, and that the device is a permanently installed field device.

What to plan before ordering

Recording time depends on the chosen cycle: the data sheet shows about 42 days at 125 ms, about 8 months at 1 s and about 41 months at 5 s per channel under its stated conditions. Plan the number of channels and the cycle together with the storage method (USB flash drive, Ethernet or software).

For heat treatment, select the AMS2750 / CQI-9 extra code and state thermocouple types and calibration points when ordering a calibration certificate. For regulated pharmaceutical use, choose the FDA code and the Audit Trail Manager software package.

Use the request form to ask for this model with your exact code. The attached JUMO LOGOSCREEN 601 data sheet 706521 (EN) lists all variants and options, and the input options, extra codes and supply voltage should be confirmed before the order is released. About brand

Temperature measurement is the origin of JUMO, founded in 1948 in Fulda, Germany, as a maker of glass thermometers. Today the catalog covers sensors and transmitters for temperature, pressure, level and liquid analysis, plus controllers and recorders. Seven Star LLC lists JUMO RTD probes, pressure and differential pressure transmitters, pH, conductivity, turbidity and dissolved oxygen instruments, and sources them for plants in Oman.

JUMO product families listed

JUMO uses family names that recur across the catalog:

  • dTRANS: transmitters, including dTRANS T01 and T100 for temperature, dTRANS p02 DELTA for differential pressure, and dTRANS pH 02 and CR 02 for liquid analysis
  • Wtrans: wireless probes and transmitters, such as Wtrans T for RTD temperature and Wtrans p for pressure
  • digiLine and ecoLine: digital and optical analysis sensors, for example the digiLine O-DO S10 dissolved oxygen sensor and the ecoLine NTU turbidity sensor
  • NESOS: float-based level transmitters and switches
  • RTD temperature probes: screw-in types such as 902030 and mineral-insulated designs

Where JUMO sensors are used

JUMO sensors and transmitters are typical of food and beverage lines, water and wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical utilities, heating and cooling systems, and packaged machinery supplied to the GCC by European builders. Many requests are for a like-for-like replacement of a probe fitted by the machine maker, where length, thread and connector have to match exactly.

Ordering JUMO parts: what we need

JUMO identifies each product group by a six-digit type number, such as 902030, followed by an order code that fixes the options. The label of the delivered item normally carries a part number as well. Send whichever you have, ideally both, or a photo of the label. For JUMO temperature probes add insertion length, diameter, process connection, sensor type and wiring. For JUMO pressure sensors state range, output, process connection and electrical connector. For analysis sensors name the transmitter they connect to and the cable length.
