Measurement and Operating Principle

VersaFlow Coriolis sensors directly measure mass flow rate, product density, and product temperature by exploiting the Coriolis effect induced in vibrating measuring tubes as fluid passes through them, delivering accuracy better than 0.2% of reading plus zero stability on liquid and gas service. Because mass flow is measured directly rather than inferred, VersaFlow Coriolis meters are unaffected by changes in fluid density, viscosity, or pressure that would otherwise require compensation with other flow technologies.

Each sensor pairs with the TWC9400 converter, available in compact or remote mounting and in explosion-proof or non-explosion-proof configurations, with HART or Modbus digital communication.
