A PYRA xenon beacon with sounder and selectable flash rates

The Pfannenberg PY X-MA-05 is a PYRA flashing light sounder: a pyramid-shaped xenon beacon with an integrated sounder, 101 dB(A) and 5 J of flash energy (the PY X-MA-10 has 10 J). Pfannenberg highlights four flash rates selectable via a DIP switch (0.1, 0.5, 0.75 and 1 Hz), constant-current regulation on the 24 V AC/DC version to avoid load fluctuations, integrated inrush-current limitation and undervoltage detection, full synchronisation on multi-light systems, and separate control of the light and the sounder.

It installs either with external lugs or internal holes, protected IP66 and impact-proof, and operates from -40 °C to +55 °C. The product page lists UL approval and EAC.

Select the PY X-MA-05 where a visible beacon with a modest sounder is enough, and the 10 J version for longer viewing distance. Where louder sound is needed, move to the PATROL PA X series.
