LAMTEC flame monitoring products
LAMTEC builds flame monitoring in two ways. The FFS07 and FFS08 are separate flame sensors that work with the F152 evaluation unit, which sits in the control cabinet. The F200K and F300K are compact flame scanners that need no separate evaluation unit. The F200K is also made in Ex versions for hazardous areas, and the F200K Ex is listed on this page together with the F300K, the FFS08 and the BurnerTronic BT300 burner control system.
Ordering LAMTEC flame scanners: what we need
A flame scanner is chosen for the fuel and the burner, so the type designation alone is not enough. Send the full type and article number from the label, the serial number, the fuel or fuels fired, the spectral range of the existing sensor, the supply voltage, cable length, and whether the device stands in a hazardous area. A photo of the label and of the mounting saves time.

Does the LAMTEC FFS08 flame sensor work on its own?
No. LAMTEC lists the FFS07 and FFS08 as flame sensors and the F152 as the evaluation unit for them. The sensor looks at the flame and the evaluation unit produces the flame signal for the burner control. When replacing a sensor, tell us which evaluation unit is fitted so the pairing can be checked against the manufacturer's documentation.
How do I identify the right LAMTEC flame scanner variant?
Read the complete type and article number on the device label. Scanners of one series are built for different spectral ranges and housings, and the wrong variant may not see the flame of your fuel reliably. Add the fuel, the burner type and a photo of the label, and we will match the variant before quoting.
Is the LAMTEC F200K offered for hazardous areas?
Yes. LAMTEC names Ex versions of the F200K alongside the standard compact scanner. The type of protection, gas group and temperature class are stated on the certificate for the specific version, so give us the zone and gas group your site classification requires. We will supply the manufacturer's certificate with the order on request.
