Danfoss 084N2026 is an AKS 21 W insertion temperature sensor with a Pt 1000 element (EN 60751, class B), a stainless-steel protection tube of 8 mm diameter and 100 mm length, and a male R 1/2 process thread to ISO 7. The measuring range is -60 to 180 C and the head is a Type B connection head with a Pg 16 entry and three terminals, IP56. Net weight is 0.319 kg.
The insert is exchangeable, the insertion length is 97 mm, the ambient temperature at the head can reach 160 C and the only approval printed is CE. The sensor is a two-wire device.

Insertion sensors for pipes and tanks
The AKS 21 W is screwed into a pipe, a tank or a heat exchanger so the tube reaches into the flow, which gives a faster and more accurate reading of the medium temperature than a clamp-on sensor. The W version has a stainless-steel tube and a connection head, so it can be wired directly to a terminal block.
The range of -60 to 180 C covers refrigeration, glycol circuits, oil and process heating. The replaceable insert allows the element to be changed without opening the process connection, provided there is a thermowell, which is not part of this version.

Choosing Danfoss products
For solenoid valves, check the operating principle. A direct-operated valve such as EV210B opens even at 0 bar differential pressure. A servo-operated valve such as EV220B needs a minimum differential (typically about 0.3 bar) to open, while an assisted-lift valve such as EV250B works from 0 bar. Coils are ordered separately, so the voltage on the coil (for example 230 V AC or 24 V DC) must match the control circuit. For drives, the VLT family is split by application: FC 51 Micro Drive for small machines, FC 102 HVAC Drive for fans and pumps in buildings, FC 202 AQUA Drive for water, and FC 302 AutomationDrive for demanding industrial duty.
