A resistance sensor for hydraulic and cooling circuits
The MBT 3270 is a robust resistance sensor made for mobile machinery and industrial plant: hydraulic oil temperature, coolant, gearbox oil and process water. A fixed insert and a short 24 mm tube give a fast response where the sensor is screwed directly into a manifold or a block.
The brochures on the product page are the Danfoss mobile hydraulic off-highway brochure and the temperature sensor overview for wholesalers. Because the output is a Pt 100 resistance, the controller or a transmitter must supply the excitation and compensate the cable resistance, which matters in a two-wire connection.
Ordering and fitting
Order the mating AMP connector separately if it is not included, and seal the M10x1 thread with the sealing ring specified in the data sheet. The 24 mm insertion length must be matched to the pocket depth; too short a tube measures wall temperature, not the medium.

Choosing Danfoss products
For solenoid valves, check the operating principle. A direct-operated valve such as EV210B opens even at 0 bar differential pressure. A servo-operated valve such as EV220B needs a minimum differential (typically about 0.3 bar) to open, while an assisted-lift valve such as EV250B works from 0 bar. Coils are ordered separately, so the voltage on the coil (for example 230 V AC or 24 V DC) must match the control circuit. For drives, the VLT family is split by application: FC 51 Micro Drive for small machines, FC 102 HVAC Drive for fans and pumps in buildings, FC 202 AQUA Drive for water, and FC 302 AutomationDrive for demanding industrial duty.
