Measurement Principle

The Pac 8000 performs especially well when detecting different special gases: it can detect ozone (O3) from concentrations as low as 0.02ppm and phosgene (COCl2) from 0.01ppm, while detecting nitrogen dioxide (NO2) from concentrations as low as 0.04ppm. The device can be fitted with sensors for a wide range of gases including NO, CO2, Cl2, HCN, NH3, PH3, OV, OV-A, NO2, O3, and COCl2, each with clearly defined measuring ranges and dual alarm setpoints (for example, Cl2 measures 0-20ppm with 0.5/1ppm alarm thresholds, and HCN measures 0-50ppm with 2.5/4.5ppm thresholds).
