Operating Principle

An external chamber works on straightforward connected-vessel physics: the chamber is piped into the parent vessel at an upper and lower connection point, so liquid inside the chamber sits at exactly the same level as liquid inside the vessel itself. A float, displacer, or transmitter sensing element mounted inside the external chamber therefore reads the true process level continuously, while being physically isolated from turbulence, agitator disturbance, or internal vessel obstructions that can cause false readings when a level device is mounted directly inside the tank.
