FLOMID is the full-bore electromagnetic flowmeter for conductive liquids, listed here from DN3 to DN500. Series 2000 is a small variable area flowmeter for low flow rates of liquids and gases, with one or two optional limit switches. The LT series are bypass chamber level indicators, and the LT-R153 listed here combines level transmission with a switch. Other series include SC250 metal tube and 6000 glass tube flowmeters, FLOMAT and COVOL flow meters, and LU ultrasonic, LTDR guided radar and LD vibrating fork level instruments.

What information defines a Tecfluid Series 2000 variable area flowmeter?
A variable area flowmeter scale is made for one fluid at one set of conditions. To quote a Series 2000 we need the fluid, its density and viscosity, operating pressure and temperature, the flow range for the scale, connection size and type, and whether one or two limit switches (reed or inductive) are required. For a like-for-like replacement, the model code and serial number from the label are enough.
How do I specify a Tecfluid FLOMID electromagnetic flowmeter?
State the nominal size (the series covers DN3 to DN500), the liner and electrode materials suited to your liquid, the flange or other process connection, and the converter: compact or remote, power supply and outputs. Also confirm that the liquid is conductive, since the measuring principle depends on it. The complete order code on an existing unit lets us check every option against Tecfluid's documentation.
Which approvals does Tecfluid issue for its instruments?
Tecfluid publishes declarations of conformity by series, and the applicable documents depend on the exact series and option. Some accessories, such as the inductive NAMUR limit switches, are intended for intrinsically safe circuits in hazardous areas. Tell us the hazardous area classification and the directive your project requires, and we will request the matching declaration or certificate from the manufacturer with the order.
What is needed to order a Tecfluid LT level indicator or transmitter?
A bypass level indicator is built to the vessel. We need the center-to-center distance between process connections, connection size and rating, liquid density, operating pressure and temperature, chamber material, and the accessories wanted, such as a transmitter or limit switches. For the LT-R153 listed here, send the code from the existing label if you are replacing a unit.
