JUMO CTI-750 Inductive Conductivity Transmitter
Description
A hygienic inductive conductivity transmitter with built-in limit contacts
The JUMO CTI-750 (type 202756) measures conductivity or concentration with an inductive sensor and adds a fast temperature probe for compensation. It is built for media that leave dirt, oil, grease or gypsum and lime deposits, and for CIP processes, because the transmitter can change measuring range and temperature coefficient together through binary inputs. Two built-in switching outputs can be programmed as limit, alarm or control (dilution) contacts for conductivity, concentration or temperature. The unit comes as a head transmitter, with the electronics directly on the process sensor, or as a transmitter with a separate sensor on 10 m of cable for places with strong vibration or heat. Plastic (PA) or stainless-steel 1.4305 housings, with or without display and keypad, are available.

Configuring the order code
Order codes follow 202756/basic type – process connection – insertion length – electrical connection / extra codes, for example 202756/10-607-0000-82/767. Electrical connection 82 means cable glands with pluggable terminals, 83 means M12 plug/socket connectors and 84 means two M16 glands. Extra code 268 adds an internal temperature sensor, 767 selects PEEK, 768 selects PVDF, 844 a 24 V AC supply and 941 a hygienic design (not with PVDF). The hygienic VARIVENT connection can only be combined with PEEK. For separate-sensor versions the insertion length is 0500 to 2000 mm in 250 mm steps, and immersion models (706) require the PVDF cell. The manufacturer notes that versions without a keypad need the PC setup program, and that a calibration kit is essential for commissioning separate transmitters. Stock items ship in three working days; mounting brackets and flanges are accessories.
Where it is used
JUMO lists food and beverage and pharmaceutical production, product separation in beverage plants, breweries, dairies, bottle-cleaning plants, concentration control in electroplating and chemical plants, CIP systems, water and wastewater, chemical dosing, leakage indication and heating and cooling circuits. The same traits suit desalination chemical cleaning, soda and acid dosing and heat-exchanger leak detection in hot, dusty climates, since an inductive sensor has no electrodes to polarise or foul. The binary inputs allow a PLC to activate a range and temperature coefficient pair for each cleaning step. A comparable panel instrument is the AQUIS 500 CR for conductive cells, while sensors for the AQUIS 500 Ci family appear in the liquid analytical systems category.
The quotation depends on whether the transmitter is mounted on the head of the sensor or separately, which process connection and sensor material (PEEK or PVDF) the medium needs, and what conductivity or concentration range is required. Tell us the medium temperature, including any sterilisation peak up to 140 °C, the supply voltage available and whether switching outputs, binary inputs or concentration curves for sodium hydroxide, nitric acid or other chemicals are used. The graphic display speaks several languages, and the calibration timer can remind staff of the next adjustment. Two stock items with a DIN 11851 connection are listed in the datasheet for quick delivery.

About brand
JUMO is the German maker of temperature sensors, process controllers, pressure transmitters and liquid analysis instruments. Moritz Kurt Juchheim founded it in Fulda in 1948 as M. K. Juchheim KG, making glass thermometers with six employees. The name JUMO comes from the founder's name. It is still a family company headquartered in Fulda, and the parent company has been called JUMO GmbH & Co. KG since 2003.
Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat. We list JUMO RTD and thermocouple probes, thermowells, transmitters, controllers, recorders and water analysis instruments, and supply them to process plants, OEMs, HVAC contractors and water utilities in Oman and the GCC by type number.

Choosing a temperature sensor starts with the range and accuracy. A Pt100 RTD is accurate and stable from about -200 to 600 °C and is the usual choice in process plants. A thermocouple (type K or J, for example) covers much higher temperatures and responds faster but is less accurate. The wiring also matters: a 3-wire or 4-wire Pt100 connection cancels the resistance of the cable, while a 2-wire connection adds an error that grows with cable length. That is why a head-mounted transmitter is often fitted close to the sensor.
Where JUMO products are used
In Oman and the GCC, JUMO sensors and controllers are used in oil and gas and chemical plants, food and beverage production, plastics and metal heat treatment, HVAC and district cooling, water and wastewater treatment, swimming pools and marine applications.
Ordering JUMO products: what we need
Send the JUMO type number and the full order code from the label (for example 902020/10-...). For probes, add the sensor type (Pt100, Pt1000, type K or J), the number of wires, the insertion length and diameter, and the process connection. For controllers, add the input, outputs and supply voltage.
