Mitsubishi FR-E800 Compact FREQROL Inverter

Description

A compact general-purpose inverter with Ethernet and functional safety options

The Mitsubishi Electric FR-E800 is a compact FREQROL inverter for pumps, fans, conveyors, packaging and small machine axes. Its control method can be set per application: V/F control, advanced magnetic flux vector control, real sensorless vector control and, with a plug-in encoder option, full vector control, plus PM sensorless vector control for permanent-magnet motors. Ethernet models support CC-Link IE TSN, CC-Link IE Field Network Basic, MODBUS/TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET and BACnet/IP depending on the protocol group, and safety communication models are offered with SIL2/PLd or SIL3/PLe functional safety. The catalogue also describes a built-in corrosion-attack-level alert (CALAS) and a PLC function.

Model code and communication groups

The model code combines the voltage class, capacity, and a suffix for communication and functional safety. For example, suffix EPA selects Ethernet with protocol group A (CC-Link IE TSN, CC-Link IE Field Network Basic, MODBUS/TCP, EtherNet/IP and BACnet/IP), EPB selects group B (with PROFINET instead of EtherNet/IP and BACnet/IP), and EPC selects EtherCAT. SCE suffixes add SIL3/PLe safety communication, and the -60 or -06 suffix indicates circuit-board coating. Models of 11K to 22K, added in December 2020, are said to need about 20% less enclosure space than an FR-A820-22K layout.

Selection and documents

Select the inverter from motor kW and rated current, choosing the ND or LD rating to match the load, then confirm the network protocol, safety level, input voltage and environment. Because the model code is long, send the full code or the motor nameplate with your enquiry. Related Mitsubishi drives on this site include the Mitsubishi FR-A840; see all AC drives. The attached leaflet covers the 11K to 22K models; the full FR-E800 catalogue gives the standard specification tables for every rating.

About brand

Laboratories that run an NSX-2100 trace sulfur, nitrogen or chlorine analyzer usually know it as a Mitsubishi instrument. The nameplate reads Mitsubishi Chemical Analytech, a name later changed to Nittoseiko Analytech. Seven Star LLC lists the TN6RPC gas tube dryer set for this analyzer and sources NSX-2100 consumables for refinery and fuel-testing laboratories in Oman and the GCC.

The Mitsubishi listing also includes Mitsubishi Electric factory automation and drive products: MR-J3, MR-J5 and MR-JE servo amplifiers, GOT2000 and GOT SIMPLE HMI touch panels, FR-A800, FR-E800, FR-F800 and FR-CS80 FREQROL inverters, MELSEC iQ-F PLC modules, MELSEC A-series input and temperature modules with a memory cassette, and S-T magnetic contactors and TH-T thermal overload relays.

Mitsubishi NSX-2100 parts

The NSX-2100 was built with a horizontal or a vertical furnace, and one furnace can serve several detectors. The dryer set removes water from the combustion gas before it reaches the detector. Like the connection kits, it is a consumable, and its part code changes with the analyzer variant.

Ordering NSX-2100 consumables: what we need

Send the part code, for example TN6RPC, together with the exact analyzer model shown on the nameplate (the letters after NSX-2100 indicate furnace type and detectors), the serial number and the detectors fitted. Some original part codes have been replaced by newer ones, so we check each code against the manufacturer's current parts list before quoting.
