Mitsubishi MR-J5-G CC-Link IE TSN Servo Amplifier
Description
A network servo amplifier from 0.1 kW to 25 kW
The Mitsubishi Electric MR-J5-G is the network-compatible one-axis servo amplifier of the MELSERVO-J5 series. It talks to the controller over CC-Link IE TSN, with a communication cycle from 31.25 microseconds and a speed frequency response of 3.5 kHz. The 200 V class runs from 0.1 kW to 25 kW and the 400 V class from 0.6 kW to 25 kW, so one family covers small pick-and-place axes up to heavy presses and extruders.
Variants change the network or encoder interface rather than the power stage. The N1 suffix adds EtherCAT and, on the -HSN1 and -RJN1 versions, EtherNet/IP. The -HS and -RJ versions add a four-wire or A/B/Z-phase load-side encoder input for fully closed loop control, and -HS adds three functional-safety I/O points. The amplifier supports rotary servo motors of the HK series with a batteryless absolute position encoder, linear servo motors and direct drive motors.

Choosing the model code and sizing the axis
The model name reads MR-J5-, then the rated output code (for example 100 for 1 kW or 12K for 12 kW), then G for the network interface, with a 4 for 400 V class placed after the capacity code, and optional suffixes -HS, -RJ, -N1, or ED, HU, RU and PX for special specifications such as a version without a dynamic brake or without an enclosed regenerative resistor. Always compare the whole code against the controller, the motor and the supply voltage before ordering.
Size the axis from the motor, not the amplifier alone. The catalogue publishes a combination table of motors and amplifiers and recommends the Motorizer drive system sizing software for the regenerative option. From the 12 kW size up, an external dynamic brake is required, because the motor otherwise coasts at emergency stop. Close mounting is possible for the smaller sizes at the stated ambient temperature, but not for the largest.
Confirm before ordering: 200 V or 400 V class, the rated output, the network (CC-Link IE TSN, EtherCAT or EtherNet/IP), the encoder type, whether functional safety is needed, and the motor series. For an installed MELSERVO-J3 axis, compare with the MR-J3-100BS4 servo amplifier page and confirm the replacement path against the Mitsubishi Electric transition handbook. Other drives sit in the servo drives category.

About brand
Laboratories that run an NSX-2100 trace sulfur, nitrogen or chlorine analyzer usually know it as a Mitsubishi instrument. The nameplate reads Mitsubishi Chemical Analytech, a name later changed to Nittoseiko Analytech. Seven Star LLC lists the TN6RPC gas tube dryer set for this analyzer and sources NSX-2100 consumables for refinery and fuel-testing laboratories in Oman and the GCC.
The Mitsubishi listing also includes Mitsubishi Electric factory automation and drive products: MR-J3, MR-J5 and MR-JE servo amplifiers, GOT2000 and GOT SIMPLE HMI touch panels, FR-A800, FR-E800, FR-F800 and FR-CS80 FREQROL inverters, MELSEC iQ-F PLC modules, MELSEC A-series input and temperature modules with a memory cassette, and S-T magnetic contactors and TH-T thermal overload relays.
Mitsubishi NSX-2100 parts
The NSX-2100 was built with a horizontal or a vertical furnace, and one furnace can serve several detectors. The dryer set removes water from the combustion gas before it reaches the detector. Like the connection kits, it is a consumable, and its part code changes with the analyzer variant.
Ordering NSX-2100 consumables: what we need
Send the part code, for example TN6RPC, together with the exact analyzer model shown on the nameplate (the letters after NSX-2100 indicate furnace type and detectors), the serial number and the detectors fitted. Some original part codes have been replaced by newer ones, so we check each code against the manufacturer's current parts list before quoting.

0.1 kW to 25 kW in the 200 V class and 0.6 kW to 25 kW in the 400 V class.
CC-Link IE TSN as standard; the N1 suffix adds EtherCAT, and -HSN1 or -RJN1 versions add EtherNet/IP.
Both add a load-side encoder input for fully closed loop control, and -HS also offers three functional safety I/O points.
The 200 V models up to the 2 kW size accept 3-phase or 1-phase input; 3.5 kW and above need 3-phase.
Yes from the 12 kW size upward, where the catalogue requires an external dynamic brake.
