Delta PLC families and the DVP slim line
Delta’s controller program runs from the DVP series through the modular AS series to the AH series. Inside the DVP series, the slim CPUs (among them DVP-SS2, SA2, SX2, SV2 and SE) take slim expansion modules on their right side. The DVP04AD-S2 is one of these: a four-channel analog input module for voltage or current signals, which the CPU reads with FROM and TO instructions.

Which CPUs accept the DVP04AD-S2 analog module?
It is a slim-type expansion module, so it mounts beside a DVP slim CPU and is not meant for the standard-size DVP-ES or EX expansion bus. Send the CPU model and the modules already fitted, since the number of special modules per CPU is limited, and we check the combination in the manufacturer's manual.
Does the suffix at the end of a Delta type number matter?
Yes. On DVP modules the ending separates generations and hardware versions that may differ in resolution, terminals or supported signal ranges. On power modules it separates output and connector versions. Always copy the full type from the label. If a type is discontinued, we look up the replacement the manufacturer names.
What do you need to quote a Delta rectifier module?
The type from the label, for example ESR-48/30D, plus the quantity and the system it belongs to. Rectifier modules plug into a matching shelf and are supervised by a controller unit, so the shelf and controller models matter. A photo of the module label and of the open power cabinet is usually enough.
