Brand:

Mitsubishi MR-JE-A General-Purpose Servo Amplifier

Description

A pulse-train servo amplifier for general machine axes

The Mitsubishi Electric MR-JE-A is the general-purpose interface amplifier of the MELSERVO-JE series. It takes a pulse train or an analog voltage command, so it can be driven by almost any PLC positioning output, CNC or motion card, and also by the Mitsubishi FX5 and iQ-R positioning modules shown in the catalogue. The 200 V class covers 0.1 kW to 3 kW and is paired with the HG-KN (0.1 to 0.75 kW) and HG-SN (0.5 to 3 kW) servo motors.

It positions with 131072 pulses per revolution from a 17-bit encoder, quotes a speed frequency response of 2.0 kHz, and runs in position, speed or torque control. A built-in point table or program method allows simple positioning without an external positioning module, and RS-422 or RS-485 communication links up to 32 axes for parameter and operation control.

Matching the amplifier to the motor and the controller

Each amplifier size has defined motor partners: the 10A, 20A and 40A amplifiers pair with HG-KN13, HG-KN23 and HG-KN43; the 70A pairs with HG-KN73 or HG-SN52; the 100A, 200A and 300A pair with HG-SN102, HG-SN152 or HG-SN202, and HG-SN302. The B in a motor name means an electromagnetic brake and J means an oil seal fitted. A recommended load-to-motor inertia ratio of 15 times or less applies to the HG-KN motors.

Wiring follows the supply: with a 1-phase supply on the sizes up to 1 kW, connect to L1 and L3 and leave L2 empty; for 2 kW the one-phase connections are different, so follow the catalogue connection example, which also warns about differences from the older MR-E Super amplifiers. The 0.2 kW and smaller amplifiers have no built-in regenerative resistor, so a regenerative option is added for frequent starts or large inertia.

Confirm before ordering: the exact amplifier size and motor model, 1-phase or 3-phase supply, the controller output type (differential or open collector), the regenerative option, and cables. The pulse input suits the Mitsubishi FX5U CPU positioning outputs, and the MR-J3-100BS4 remains listed for older systems. More drives are in the servo drives category.

How the Mitsubishi MR-JE-A works

The amplifier takes a pulse train or an analog voltage as the command. It compares the command with the encoder feedback and drives the servo motor to follow. It runs in position, speed or torque control.

About brand

Laboratories that run an NSX-2100 trace sulfur, nitrogen or chlorine analyzer usually know it as a Mitsubishi instrument. The nameplate reads Mitsubishi Chemical Analytech, a name later changed to Nittoseiko Analytech. Seven Star LLC lists the TN6RPC gas tube dryer set for this analyzer and sources NSX-2100 consumables for refinery and fuel-testing laboratories in Oman and the GCC.

The Mitsubishi listing also includes Mitsubishi Electric factory automation and drive products: MR-J3, MR-J5 and MR-JE servo amplifiers, GOT2000 and GOT SIMPLE HMI touch panels, FR-A800, FR-E800, FR-F800 and FR-CS80 FREQROL inverters, MELSEC iQ-F PLC modules, MELSEC A-series input and temperature modules with a memory cassette, and S-T magnetic contactors and TH-T thermal overload relays.

Mitsubishi NSX-2100 parts

The NSX-2100 was built with a horizontal or a vertical furnace, and one furnace can serve several detectors. The dryer set removes water from the combustion gas before it reaches the detector. Like the connection kits, it is a consumable, and its part code changes with the analyzer variant.

Ordering NSX-2100 consumables: what we need

Send the part code, for example TN6RPC, together with the exact analyzer model shown on the nameplate (the letters after NSX-2100 indicate furnace type and detectors), the serial number and the detectors fitted. Some original part codes have been replaced by newer ones, so we check each code against the manufacturer's current parts list before quoting.
