Eaton circuit protection listed here

The NZMN1-A80 is a frame size 1 molded case circuit breaker rated 80 A with a thermomagnetic release for cable and system protection. The PKZM0-1,6 is a motor-protective circuit breaker whose overload release is adjustable from 1 to 1.6 A, used as a manual motor starter. The LPJ-35SP is a Bussmann series Low-Peak Class J time-delay fuse rated 35 A at 600 V AC. Older NZM and PKZ devices carry the Moeller name on the nameplate, and the type designations are the same.

Where Eaton breakers and fuses are used

Motor control centers, feeder panels, machine control cabinets and UL-style fused disconnects.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I read the Eaton type NZMN1-A80?
NZM is the molded case circuit breaker series. The letter that follows gives the switching capacity class, the digit 1 is the frame size, A marks a thermomagnetic release for system and cable protection, and 80 is the rated current in amperes. Pole count and accessories are not in this short type, so add the article number from the label.
What does 1,6 mean on the PKZM0-1,6?
It is the upper end of the adjustable overload setting range in amperes. Choose a PKZM0 so that the motor's nameplate full-load current falls inside the range, then set the dial to that current. If the motor current is above 1.6 A, the next size in the series is needed. Send the motor power, voltage and nameplate current.
My breaker says Moeller on the front. Is it the same as the Eaton part?
NZM and PKZ devices were sold under the Moeller name before they carried the Eaton name, and the type designations were kept. Send both the type and the article number from the old device, plus a photo of the label. We check the current Eaton equivalent and its accessories against the manufacturer's documentation before quoting.
Can a different fuse class be used in place of a Class J fuse such as the LPJ-35SP?
No. Class J fuses have their own dimensions so that fuses of other classes cannot be fitted in a Class J holder. Replace like with like: same class, same ampere rating and the same time-delay characteristic. The LPJ-35SP is a 35 A time-delay fuse. Give the full catalog number and quantity.
Is Seven Star LLC a distributor of Eaton?
No. Seven Star LLC is an independent industrial supplier based in Muscat, not a distributor or agent of Eaton. We source Eaton circuit breakers and Bussmann series fuses through commercial channels, check the model or order code against the manufacturer's documentation, and provide the manufacturer's datasheet and the certificates the manufacturer issues with the order on request.
