How do I read a Schneider Electric Altivar reference such as ATV320U22N4C?
ATV320 is the drive series. U22 gives the motor power, 2.2 kW, and N4 the supply class, three-phase 380 to 500 V. The last letter is the mechanical format: C for the compact version and B for the book version, which mounts side by side in narrow panels. Check the format letter carefully, because the two are not mechanically interchangeable.
What replaces a MasterPact NW air circuit breaker?
Schneider Electric introduced MasterPact MTZ as the newer generation of its NT and NW air circuit breakers. For an existing switchboard the choice depends on the cradle, connections and trip unit of the present device, so send the full reference, the rating plate and photos of the breaker and cradle. We check the manufacturer's replacement information before proposing a device.
Is ComPacT NSX the same as the Compact NSX breakers already in my panel?
ComPacT NSX is the current generation of the Compact NSX molded case breaker family and keeps the same frame concept. Trip units and accessories have their own references, and some accessories changed between generations. Send the commercial references of the breaker, trip unit and accessories in your panel and we will confirm which present references correspond to them.
What do you need to quote a Schneider Electric circuit breaker?
The commercial reference, or else: frame or family, rated current, breaking capacity at your system voltage, number of poles, trip unit (thermal-magnetic or electronic, with the protection functions needed), fixed, plug-in or drawout mounting, and accessories such as auxiliary contacts, shunt or undervoltage release, rotary handle and communication module. A photo of the front label is usually enough.
