The K2 Series is a hydrostatic speed variator.
A hydrostatic variator sits between a fixed-speed electric motor and the driven machine and changes the output speed through an oil circuit made of a variable pump and a hydraulic motor. It gives stepless speed adjustment with high starting torque and can be controlled by hand, servo or remote control. It is an alternative to electronic drives where shock loads, high torque at low speed or harsh conditions are expected.

Send a photo of it together with the nameplate of the electric motor coupled to the variator, since the input flange and shaft must match the motor frame. No. A variable frequency drive is an electronic unit that changes the motor's supply frequency.
