3,000 lb positioner with motorized rotation and tilt
The Pandjiris 30-6 MVRMT is a 3,000 lb welding positioner for presenting weldments in the best position for manual or mechanized welding. Both rotation and tilt are motorized. The table rotates at a variable speed with Forward-Stop-Reverse switching and dynamic braking, and tilts infinitely through 135 degrees. A 30 in square table is standard.
Pandjiris builds the 30-6 in three versions. The fixed-base MVRMTFB has a table height of 32-5/8 in to allow full tilt. The adjustable-base MVRMTAB has five pinned height positions and a 28 to 47 in swing radius at 90° tilt. The MVRMT-VPL adds a vertical power lift that sets the table between 34 and 48 in above the floor.

Sizing the load and choosing options
The 3,000 lb rating applies only with the load’s centre of gravity within 6 in of the table face. Pandjiris publishes an overhung-load table for larger distances: 1,986 lb at 12 in, 1,484 lb at 18 in, 1,185 lb at 24 in, 986 lb at 30 in, 844 lb at 36 in and 738 lb at 42 in. Calculate the centre of gravity of the complete weldment, including any fixture, before selecting the model.
The 30 in table has a 2-3/4 in diameter pilot hole, 1/4 in deep, and a 1-1/2 in through hole. The dimension drawing gives an overall width of 39-1/4 in, a rotation offset of 4 in and an inherent overhang of 5-3/4 in, which should be taken into account when calculating where the load sits relative to the table face.
Specify the input voltage when ordering, because the standard 460 V supply differs from common 400 V or 415 V three-phase networks. The equipment is high-frequency protected, which suits TIG starting. Optional accessories include foot switches, a preset digital tachometer, the Dialweld travel-speed meter, a 25 ft extension cable, rotary copper welding grounds, a 30 in round or Blanchard-ground table, outboard support stands, encoder feedback and wireless pendants.
The hand pendant plugs in and can be changed in the field, and the Tilt Up/Down push buttons sit on the side of the main electrical enclosure. On the VPL version, separate Up/Down push buttons for the lift are mounted next to them, and overtravel limit switches protect the 30 in/min acme screw lift.
