Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Gullco KAT carriage used for?
A KAT carriage moves a welding gun or cutting torch along a track at a controlled speed, forward or reverse, so that the travel speed and torch position stay constant along the joint. Options add weld oscillation, auto-weld cycles, indexing or cutting.
Can Gullco carriages work on curved surfaces?
Yes. KAT carriages run on rigid track in straight sections or formed to the workpiece, and Gullco also offers semi-rigid and flexible track for curved work. Check the minimum forming diameter of the track type in the Gullco brochure.
Which supply voltages are available for Gullco KAT 300 carriages?
Gullco lists several KAT 300 supply-voltage versions; the required version is confirmed at quotation. The voltage is part of the item number, so state it in the inquiry.
What should I send for a Gullco quotation?
Send the Gullco item number or model, the supply voltage, the process and the joint type, and the track length and mounting method. For spare parts, add the part number from the Gullco manual.
Is Seven Star LLC a distributor of Gullco?
No. Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat. We source genuine Gullco products through commercial channels, check the item number and options against Gullco documentation and provide the manufacturer's brochure on request.
