MBC 5180: a differential pressure switch for filters, pumps and oil circuits
Danfoss 061B128066 is an MBC 5180 differential pressure switch with an adjustable range of 0.3 to 5 bar (4.3 to 72.5 psi), an automatic reset and an SPDT contact. The two pressure connections are G 1/4 female to ISO 228-1 on a flange, the maximum working pressure is 45 bar (653 psig), the test pressure 68 bar and the burst pressure 90 bar. The operating range of the low-pressure side is 0 to 30 bar.

Where an MBC 5180 is used
A differential switch measures the pressure difference between two points and operates when it passes the set value. In practice it monitors the pressure drop across a filter or a strainer (a clogged element raises the differential), the pressure rise across a pump, or the pressure difference across an oil circuit. With auto reset, the contact returns on its own when the differential falls.
The page lists a long list of approvals: ABS, CCC, CCS, CE, EAC, GL, KRS, LR, LVD, NKK, RINA, TYSK, UA, RoHS. Those marine society approvals mean the MBC 5180 is used on ships and offshore installations, and the stated specification key is 2031-1DB04.
Setting and ordering
Mount the switch with the pressure ports connected to the high and the low points of the measured circuit, and set the differential with the adjustment. Use appropriate gaskets for the G threads. Wire with the standard DIN plug.

Choosing Danfoss products
For solenoid valves, check the operating principle. A direct-operated valve such as EV210B opens even at 0 bar differential pressure. A servo-operated valve such as EV220B needs a minimum differential (typically about 0.3 bar) to open, while an assisted-lift valve such as EV250B works from 0 bar. Coils are ordered separately, so the voltage on the coil (for example 230 V AC or 24 V DC) must match the control circuit. For drives, the VLT family is split by application: FC 51 Micro Drive for small machines, FC 102 HVAC Drive for fans and pumps in buildings, FC 202 AQUA Drive for water, and FC 302 AutomationDrive for demanding industrial duty.
