How do I read a Hydac model code?
Hydac codes are built from fields in a fixed order: series, size or range, design version, materials and options. For an SB330 accumulator the code carries volume, pressure and bladder material; for an EDS 3400 it carries pressure range and output type. Send the complete string from the nameplate, not only the series name.
Can I replace only the bladder of an SB330 accumulator?
Bladders and seal kits are supplied as spare parts and are selected by accumulator volume, bladder material and gas valve type. Send the accumulator code and the fluid in the system so the material can be checked. Work on pressurized accumulators must follow the manufacturer's instructions and local pressure equipment rules.
Which certificates come with a Hydac accumulator?
Accumulators are pressure vessels, so the manufacturer builds them to the approval ordered, and the approval is part of the model code. State the code required at your site when you ask for a quotation. We request the matching declaration and test documents from the manufacturer and pass them on with the order.
How do I choose a replacement element for an RFM return line filter?
Use the element code printed on the old element or the filter nameplate. It gives the size, the filter material and the micron rating. If the label is gone, send the filter housing code and the cleanliness class your system requires, and we check the element in the manufacturer's documentation.
