Brand:

CHINT NP8 Series Pushbuttons, IP65

Description

A modular pushbutton range for control panels and operator stations

The NP8 is CHINT’s series of control pushbuttons built from separate operating heads, adapters, contact blocks and lamp modules that can be freely combined. The catalog lists flush, projecting (mushroom-headed), illuminated, rotary, double-headed, self-locking and keyed versions, so a single range covers start, stop, emergency and selector positions on a machine or switchboard door.

Choosing the head, contacts and lamp

The model code gives the contact arrangement in its first digits, for example 10 for one normally open contact and 11 for one NO plus one NC, followed by the head type. Select an illuminated head, marked D, where the operator needs status feedback, and match the LED voltage to the control supply. The AC-15 and DC-13 values limit the coil or relay load a contact may switch, so size interposing relays accordingly. Emergency stop functions need a device approved for that duty, so use a dedicated emergency stop product and not a general pushbutton.

What to confirm before ordering

Send the head type, colour, contact arrangement and lamp voltage. For enclosures that house pushbuttons see the Schneider Harmony XB5 station and the automation accessories category.
