02Is the 9475 digital output module a stand-alone device?
No. The 9475 Ex i digital output module is a module of an R. STAHL remote I/O station and works together with that station's backplane, power supply and communication unit. When replacing one, send the complete type number and the details of the existing station so compatibility can be checked in the manufacturer's documentation.
03Will an R. STAHL 8570 plug fit any Ex socket of the same current?
Not necessarily. Ex plugs and sockets are keyed by voltage, frequency, pole count and earth contact position, and the manufacturer's system is designed so mismatched ratings cannot mate. Order the plug to match the socket already fitted: send the socket type number and a photo of its face showing the contact arrangement.
