Description
Clamshell cold cutting and beveling machine for 60 to 100 inch pipe
The GBC HYPERCUTTER is the largest-diameter pipe cutting and beveling machine in the GBC range, built for cold cutting, beveling, facing and counterboring of pipes from 1524 mm to 2540 mm (60 to 100 in) outside diameter. It is supplied only in a hydraulic version, driven by a 15 kW hydraulic motor, and is intended for heavy-duty work in the workshop as well as on pipelines.
The machine body is a clamshell frame that opens, so it can be installed at any point along a pipeline rather than only at a free end. It clamps with eight independent adjustable pads with wide contact plates, and the locking jaws are engraved with a linear scale for the pipe diameters they cover, which speeds up positioning.

Tooling, tracking and field use
The toolholders carry a copying system that follows the pipe outside profile, which compensates for the bevel offset on out-of-round pipes, and an automatic feed advances the operation. GBC offers a wide range of tools for cutting and for standard or compound bevels, for all common materials, and states that tools can be designed to customer specifications.
With a machine weight of 2.4 to 2.7 tonnes, planning for lifting, support and a hydraulic power pack delivering 66 l/min at up to 160 bar is part of any job. On site, check the ground and lifting arrangement, the power pack supply, and the pipe ovality before choosing the model and clamping range.

About brand
G.B.C. Industrial Tools is an Italian manufacturer of machines for cutting and beveling metal pipes and plates, founded in 1981 by Bruno Giottoli. Since 2016 its operations have been centralised in a facility in Cazzago San Martino, near Brescia, where the machines are designed and built. Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat, lists GBC portable pipe beveling and pipe cutting machines, including the SUPERMAXI 4_16, and sources GBC equipment for piping and fabrication work.
