Danfoss 027H7122 is an ICS 100, the 100 mm (4 in) member of the ICS servo valve family. Butt-weld connections follow ASME B 36.10M Schedule 40, the body is steel with a zinc (TLP) coating and the Kv value is 142 m3/h. It weighs 44.66 kg and carries CE 0045, EAC, UL and TUV approvals.
Pressure rating is 52 bar (754 psig) and the temperature range is -60 to 120 C. The valve has a manual-open spindle, a side branch connection of 3/8 in NPT, an internal gauge connection with a blind plug and an external pilot-pressure weld nipple (port P2). Large servo valves in plant control
At 100 mm the ICS regulates main flows: suction-pressure control upstream of compressors, hot-gas pressure regulation, liquid-line control of an evaporator bank or condenser pressure regulation. A pilot on top senses the controlled variable and the line pressure drives the main piston.
Closed at zero differential, proportional between 0.07 and 0.2 bar and open at 0.2 bar or more is the standard opening characteristic. The valve can therefore be installed in lines where only a small differential exists, though capacity then depends on the actual pressure drop.
Handling, welding and ordering
Plan lifting equipment for the 44.66 kg body and fit pipe supports before welding. Remove the top cover and internals before welding, as in the installation guide, and replace the seals when you refit them. Check that the weld ends, Schedule 40, match your pipe.
Order pilots, function modules, flanges and accessories separately. Confirm the pressure class of the line, the connection size and the refrigerant before ordering; the ICS data sheet runs to 8.5 MB and covers all sizes.

Choosing Danfoss products
For solenoid valves, check the operating principle. A direct-operated valve such as EV210B opens even at 0 bar differential pressure. A servo-operated valve such as EV220B needs a minimum differential (typically about 0.3 bar) to open, while an assisted-lift valve such as EV250B works from 0 bar. Coils are ordered separately, so the voltage on the coil (for example 230 V AC or 24 V DC) must match the control circuit. For drives, the VLT family is split by application: FC 51 Micro Drive for small machines, FC 102 HVAC Drive for fans and pumps in buildings, FC 202 AQUA Drive for water, and FC 302 AutomationDrive for demanding industrial duty.
