Diaphragm valves and where they are used
A diaphragm design suits systems that must stay hermetically tight for years: small commercial refrigeration units, laboratory chillers and air-conditioning circuits. The 28 bar rating covers most HFC systems on the low side and many on the high side, but is lower than that of the GBC ball valve, so check the high-side pressure.
Oil-free refrigerants shown are R1234ze(E), R134a, R513A, R515B and R516A, and UL lists the valve for a long set of HFC and HFO blends such as R134a, R404A, R407C, R449B, R507A and R513A.
Installation points and what to confirm
Solder with wet rags around the body; heat can damage the diaphragm and seat. Turn the handwheel gently to the stops, without a tool, to avoid deforming the diaphragm. The inlet and outlet are marked by an embossed arrow.

Milestones

Choosing Danfoss products
For solenoid valves, check the operating principle. A direct-operated valve such as EV210B opens even at 0 bar differential pressure. A servo-operated valve such as EV220B needs a minimum differential (typically about 0.3 bar) to open, while an assisted-lift valve such as EV250B works from 0 bar. Coils are ordered separately, so the voltage on the coil (for example 230 V AC or 24 V DC) must match the control circuit. For drives, the VLT family is split by application: FC 51 Micro Drive for small machines, FC 102 HVAC Drive for fans and pumps in buildings, FC 202 AQUA Drive for water, and FC 302 AutomationDrive for demanding industrial duty.
