Brand:

FANUC ARC Mate 50iD/7L Compact Arc Welding Robot

Description

A compact 7 kg arc welding robot for small parts and tight cells

The FANUC ARC Mate 50iD/7L is the smallest arc welding robot in FANUC’s ARC Mate iD range. It carries 7 kg at the wrist, reaches 911 mm and repeats within ±0.01 mm (ISO 9283). FANUC describes it as a versatile arc welding robot with a lightweight, compact design that integrates easily into existing workflows, and it adds standard IP67 protection with optional IP69K for harsh environments. The long-arm “L” version suits small fabrications, brackets, tubular frames and other low-payload welding where a full-size robot would be oversized.

What the small footprint allows

A 27 kg arm on a 190 x 190 mm base can be placed close to a fixture, on a bench-height pedestal, or inverted from a frame above the work. FANUC highlights the flip-over capability that extends the working envelope, so the torch can reach areas behind and above the base. The 7 kg payload is intended for a light MIG or TIG torch with a compact cable dress, so check the torch, wire feeder interface and any sensor weight against it before choosing this model.

Standard IP67 protection on the wrist axes suits spatter, dust and moisture, and the optional IP69K protection for the body, wrist and arm withstands high-pressure steam cleaning, which can matter in food, hygiene or washdown environments. Running from a single-phase supply also simplifies installation in small workshops.

Choosing within the ARC Mate iD family

Select the model from the torch package and the reach the parts demand. FANUC Europe lists these ARC Mate iD models:

Model Payload at wrist Reach
ARC Mate 50iD/7L 7 kg 911 mm
ARC Mate 100iD 12 kg 1441 mm
ARC Mate 100iD/10L 10 kg 1636 mm
ARC Mate 100iD/8L 8 kg 2032 mm
ARC Mate 120iD 25 kg 1831 mm
ARC Mate 120iD/12L 12 kg 2272 mm
ARC Mate 120iD/35 35 kg 1831 mm

For heavier torches and larger parts, compare the published FANUC ARC Mate 100iD; related equipment is listed under welding robots and automation.

About brand

Yellow robot arms are the public face of FANUC, a Japanese maker of CNC systems, robots and machines founded in 1972 and based in Oshino. In welding shops the name stands for the ARC Mate line. Seven Star LLC lists the FANUC ARC Mate 100iD arc welding robot and handles inquiries for FANUC robots and parts from manufacturers in Oman.

FANUC ARC Mate welding robots

ARC Mate is the FANUC family of articulated robots made for arc welding, and the 100iD in our listing is one model of that family. A welding robot is only one element of a cell: it works with a controller, a welding power source, a wire feeder, a torch and often a positioner. FANUC gives the standard 100iD a 12 kg payload and a 1441 mm reach, with a hollow arm and wrist and the R-30iB Plus controller. Long-arm variants have other figures, so the exact variant must be named.

Ordering FANUC robots and parts: what we need

Send the robot model and variant, the controller type, and the serial numbers from the nameplates on the arm and the controller cabinet. For a new cell, describe the part, the weld process, the power source you plan to use and the mains supply. For parts, give the FANUC part number printed on the unit. The same applies to requests from elsewhere in the GCC.
