Kärcher KM 130/300 R I D Diesel Industrial Sweeper

A diesel ride-on sweeper for yards, workshops and warehouse aprons

The Kärcher KM 130/300 R I D is a ride-on industrial sweeper with an internal combustion diesel engine and a steel frame. Kärcher describes it as offering easy operation and high cleaning performance for demanding applications involving heavy soiling, with a 300 litre container, hydraulic high-dump emptying and a pocket filter.

A Yanmar four-stroke diesel of 15.8 kW drives the machine, so it does not depend on batteries or mains charging. With a working width of 1000 mm that rises to 1300 mm with one side brush and 1550 mm with two, it can sweep yards, loading areas, workshop and warehouse floors, car parks and industrial roads; Kärcher lists outdoor use.

Equipment and controls

Kärcher lists automatic filter cleaning, a floating main sweeper roller with automatic wear adjustment, power steering, suction volume regulation, the dustpan principle, a suction function and a sweeping function that can be switched off. The machine has solid rubber wheels, forward and reverse traction drive, an elapsed-time counter and a flashing beacon.

Operation is by levers with LED status indicators and one-pedal travel with a forward and reverse changeover switch. Waste is emptied by a hydraulic high dump that works without contact at heights of up to 1.40 m, and the optimum feed system that directs waste to the roller is stated to reduce dust dispersion and the dust load on the operator.
