Tractel

Tractel is a manufacturer of lifting and pulling equipment, load measurement instruments and working-at-height safety products. Its range includes manual and electric hoists, wire rope pulling machines, lifting clamps, dynamometers and fall protection, and the Tirfor wire rope winch dates back to 1941.

Lifting and load measurement

Typical Tractel lifting products include lever and chain hoists, Tirfor traction machines, electric hoists and plate clamps. Digital dynamometers such as the Dynafor family measure the load actually carried by a rigging set-up, which supports proof testing, overhead weighing and tension control.

Selecting equipment

Select by working load limit, lifting height, duty and environment, and confirm the applicable standard and marking before ordering. Each Tractel page lists the published capacities and links to the manufacturer technical sheet. Seven Star LLC supplies Tractel products against a stated capacity and standard, and quotes once the lifting duty is confirmed.

Rigging equipment must be selected, inspected and used according to the manufacturer instructions and local regulations, and load measurement devices should be checked against the capacity of the lifting set-up.
