Kärcher IVR-L 100/24-2 Tc Liquid and Swarf Industrial Vacuum

Description

Cooling lubricant and swarf extraction for metalworking shops

The Kärcher IVR-L 100/24-2 Tc is the basic version of all IVR-L 100 Tc models and is described by Kärcher as the machine for vacuuming and separating cooling lubricants and shavings in the metalworking industry. Its steel container holds 100 litres on a tilting chassis that allows ergonomic emptying.

Machine shops and fabrication plants collect coolant, oil, chips and swarf from machine tool beds, sumps and floors every shift. A single-phase 220 to 240 V motor of 2.4 kW produces 148 l/s of air flow and 230 mbar vacuum, so the unit can be plugged in where a 400 V outlet is not available at every machine.

Chassis, emptying and filling level

The tilting chassis uses a roll-off mechanism: the container is tipped backwards for quick manual emptying with little effort. The machine and chassis are designed with reinforced wall thicknesses for continuous industrial use, and a rotatable hose connection with a pipe bend that turns through 360 degrees gives a full working radius.

A transparent hose shows the amount of fluid collected and is also used for easy emptying. Overfill protection, a strainer and an accessories holder are available as options. Kärcher states that 35 percent of the plastic content of the device, excluding accessories, is recycled.
