Brand: EBRO ARMATUREN
EBRO SVD, SVS and SVF NAMUR Solenoid Pilot Valves
Description
Three NAMUR solenoid pilot valves for part-turn actuators
The SVD, SVS and SVF are the solenoid pilot valves in EBRO ARMATUREN’s actuator range. All three use a ¼ inch NAMUR interface, so they bolt straight onto a pneumatic part-turn actuator with the matching pad, and all three are monostable with a latching manual emergency override. The family covers the two valve functions that actuator control needs: 5/2-way for a double-acting actuator and 3/2-way for a spring-return actuator.
The SVD is the 5/2-way valve. The SVS is a 3/2-way valve with exhaust air recirculation. The SVF is a 5/2-way NAMUR valve that becomes a 3/2-way valve with exhaust air recirculation when the Flex-Pack adapter is added, which lets one stocked body serve both actuator types.

| Weight | 0.26 kg for each model |
| Port connection | G 1/4 inch (dimension K) |
The connection numbering differs by model. For the positions x, y, z, v and w, the SVD uses ports 5, 1, 3, 2 and 4, the SVS lists 3, none, 1, 2 and 4, and the SVF uses 3, 1, 5, 4 and 2. Main dimensions are A 40, C 70, D about 54, E 36, F 22, G 13 and H 44 mm.
Coil options
| Coil | Nominal voltage | Rated current | Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| MA 30 S9 24DC X CE | 24 V | 83 mA | 2 W |
| MA 30 S9 110AC X CE | 110 V | 27 mA | 3 VA |
| MA 30 S9 230AC X CE | 230 V | 13 mA | 3 VA |
The coil is Form A to DIN EN 175301-803:2007-03 with IP65 protection when fitted with the matching plug. Type code positions in the sheet select the function (D, S or F), the valve body (10 standard, 20 ATEX Ex h zone 2 and 22), and the coil voltage (V1 24 V DC, V2 230 V AC, V3 110 V AC).
Options: fittings and silencers
Two accessories are listed. The angle screw-in connection has nominal sizes of 4, 6 and 8 mm, an O-ring NBR seal, a push-pull principle, 9 Nm nominal torque, hose-side connections of 6, 8 and 10 mm, G ¼ inch on the valve side, and turns through 360 degrees; its operating pressure is -0.92 to 18 bar. The screw-in silencer is available in plastic (75 dB(A), 3000 l/min against atmosphere) or brass (85 dB(A), 1000 l/min).
Explosion protection and functional safety
The datasheet lists ATEX 2014/34/EU marking for the valve body as II 3 G Ex h IIC T6 Gb and II 3 D Ex h IIIC T80 °C, and for the coil as II 3G Ex ec IIC T6 Gc and II 3D Ex tc IIIC T80 °C Dc. Functional safety references are IEC 61508 Level 2 (SIL 2) and Level 3 redundant (SIL 3 redundant). These markings apply to the ATEX and safety-related versions; for a specific order, confirm the type code and certificate with EBRO.
Using the family in practice
For a double-acting actuator choose the SVD; for a spring-return actuator choose the SVS; if one valve must cover either case, the SVF with the Flex-Pack is the flexible choice. The supply must be clean compressed air to ISO 8573-1 class [7:4:4], and the minimum pressure of 2 bar means the valve is not intended for very low pilot pressures. The EBRO SC actuator and EP3 positioner use the same NAMUR approach.
Information to send with an RFQ for the EBRO SVD
An actuator is sized for the valve it will drive. For the EBRO SVD, tell us the valve type, size and make, the torque or force required with a safety margin, the operating time you need and whether the valve must fail open, fail closed or stay in position on loss of power or air.
- Supply: instrument air pressure range, or electrical voltage, phase and frequency.
- Control signal: on/off, 4-20 mA modulating, or a fieldbus such as IO-Link.
- Accessories: solenoid valve, limit switch box, positioner, manual override.
- Environment: ambient temperature, ingress protection and any hazardous area rating.
Valve and actuator are best quoted together so the mounting kit and coupling are included and the assembly can be checked before shipment.
Each quotation for the EBRO SVD states the exact manufacturer part number, the documents that will accompany the shipment, the expected lead time from the factory and the delivery terms to your site. If the part number on an existing nameplate is incomplete or worn, send a clear photograph of the label and of the installed unit, and the correct ordering code can be confirmed with the manufacturer before the offer is issued.
