Operating Principle

The ASCO 327 is a direct-acting, 3/2-way solenoid valve: energizing the coil lifts a balanced poppet directly off its seat against the full line pressure, opening a path between the supply and outlet ports while isolating the exhaust port, and de-energizing the coil returns the poppet to its normal position by spring force, connecting the outlet to exhaust.
