The Delta DOP-100 M Type is the multimedia member of Delta’s advanced HMI family. It is offered in two screen sizes only, 12 inch (DOP-112MX) and 15 inch (DOP-115MX), both at 1,024 x 768 resolution, and it adds video-related functions that the plain widescreen DOP-100 W range does not list. Seven Star LLC supplies the DOP-100 M Type in Oman and the GCC as an independent supplier in Muscat.
Reading the code: DOP-1 identifies the Delta HMI platform, the next two digits give the size class (12 or 15), M marks the multimedia type and X the 1,024 x 768 display family.

The core of a DOP-100 M panel works like any Delta HMI: screens built in the PC software run locally, with tags linked to registers in PLCs, drives and instruments over serial or Ethernet. What distinguishes the M Type is that the operator screen can also show a live camera picture, play video files and accept a VGA input, so one display can combine process values with the picture of the machine area they refer to.
Typical uses are showing a conveyor or filling station next to its counters, displaying a work instruction video during changeover, or mirroring a second computer screen through VGA. Camera and video options depend on the camera type and file format, so confirm the exact camera model with the supplier before relying on the function.
Where the DOP-100 M fits among Delta HMIs
Among the Delta HMI types, the DOP-100 M overlaps with the 12 and 15 inch models of the DOP-100 W Type (DOP-112WX and DOP-115WX), which share the same body dimensions, port count and resolution. Choose the DOP-100 M when camera, video or VGA input is needed; choose the W Type when it is not. The small DOP-100 S Type with IP65 rating is a separate basic class, and the DOP-100 H Type is a handheld pendant.

- Pick DOP-112MX for a 12 inch screen in a mid-size operator station or DOP-115MX where a larger picture is needed, for example when a camera view must remain readable from a distance.
- Both sizes have the same CPU, memory and communication ports; only the panel size and cutout differ.
- Check cutout and depth before ordering: the 12 inch model is 317.4 x 246.4 x 52.7 mm and the 15 inch model is 387.7 x 295.7 x 63.5 mm.
- Confirm camera and cable type if video is needed, and agree the length of the VGA run before purchase.
- Check the controller driver in the HMI software for the PLC brand on the machine.
Installation, commissioning and care of DOP-100 M panels
Mount the panel in the cutout (302.7 x 228.7 mm for the 12 inch, 372.4 x 283.7 mm for the 15 inch) and tighten the fixings evenly so the gasket seats flat. Leave room behind the panel for the two D-Sub connectors, two Ethernet cables and any camera or VGA lead. Keep camera and video cables apart from power cables to avoid picture noise.
At commissioning, test the camera feed at its final cable length, set the display brightness for the lighting of the control room, and save the project to the SD card or PC. Keep the operating temperature within 0 to 50°C, and clean the surface with a soft damp cloth.

Delta PLC families and the DVP slim line
Delta's controller program runs from the DVP series through the modular AS series to the AH series. Inside the DVP series, the slim CPUs (among them DVP-SS2, SA2, SX2, SV2 and SE) take slim expansion modules on their right side.
