Rittal SK 3313.570 LCP Inline CW Liquid Cooling Package

Description

A water-cooled rack row cooler for IT and control suites

The Rittal SK 3313.570 is a Liquid Cooling Package, LCP Inline CW/CWG, for installation inside a bayed enclosure suite. It draws hot air from the rear of the rack row or the hot aisle, cools it and blows it forward into the cold aisle, so no raised floor is needed. The sheet describes it as a 35 kW LCP Inline CW/glycol unit in RAL 7035, 300 mm wide, 2,000 mm high and 1,200 mm deep, designed to fit VX IT enclosures.

Operation and monitoring

Fan modules are EC type and replaceable without tools, and the sheet states that they can be exchanged while the system is operating. The two-way control valve adjusts cold-water flow continuously, and high inlet water temperatures raise the share of indirect free cooling. A redundant temperature sensor is integrated at the air end, and a standard 3-phase connection provides electrical redundancy. Monitored values include server air intake and exhaust temperature, water inlet and return temperature, water flow, cooling output, fan speed and leakage. The footprint is at most 0.36 square metres.

What to confirm before ordering

The datasheet lists output steps of 38, 40 and 44 kW against 4, 5 and 6 fan modules, while its description and maximum-output field give 35 kW; confirm the output of your configuration with the manufacturer before sizing. Also confirm chilled-water temperatures and flow, glycol content, enclosure type and suite layout, electrical connection and the monitoring protocol.

About brand

Rittal is a German manufacturer of enclosures, power distribution, climate control and IT infrastructure, founded in 1961 by Rudolf Loh in Rittershausen, Hesse, as Rudolf Loh Elektrogerätebau. In its first year it launched the first standard enclosure, built in series and available from stock instead of made to order. Rittal is headquartered in Herborn and belongs to the family-owned Friedhelm Loh Group.

Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat. We list Rittal enclosures, cooling units and power distribution products for panel builders and maintenance teams in Oman and the GCC.

Milestones

  • 1961: Rudolf Loh founds the company and launches the first standard enclosure.
  • 1969: The company takes the Rittal name, according to Rittal.
  • 2021: Rittal marks 60 years.

Rittal product series

Enclosures include the TS 8 free-standing bayable system, AE compact enclosures such as the AE 1380.500 and AE 1034.500, and the CS outdoor wall-mounted enclosure. For hazardous areas there are the KEL 9404.600 stainless steel and AX 9206.100 plastic Ex enclosures. Power distribution is covered by the VX25 Ri4Power switchgear system and its 185 mm busbar system.

Climate control includes Blue e+ wall-mounted cooling units, the TopTherm Blue e SK 3273.500 roof-mounted unit and the LCP Inline CW liquid cooling package for IT racks.

Where Rittal products are used

Machine and process control panels, motor control and power distribution switchboards, outdoor telecom and utility cabinets, junction boxes in hazardous areas and IT racks. In the Gulf, cabinet cooling is often the deciding factor for reliable electronics.

Ordering Rittal products: what we need

Rittal parts are ordered by a seven-digit model number such as 9404.600. Send that number, or the width, height and depth, material, protection category and door arrangement. For cooling units add the cooling output, rated voltage and mounting cut-out of the unit being replaced; for Ex enclosures, the zone and marking required.

Facts checked against Rittal's own company pages and Friedhelm Loh Group material, October 2026.
