Description
Green Series cooling units for 1500 W and high efficiency
The Pfannenberg DTS 6301C and its partially recessed sibling the DTI 6301C are Green Series cooling units of 1500 W cooling capacity. The DTS mounts on the outside of the door or side, the DTI sits partly recessed, and both are built for highest energy efficiency, a reduced refrigerant charge, UL 60335 listing and easy service.
The Green Series upgrade lowers the carbon footprint through a smaller R513A charge of 400 g, and a toolless filter integration with an accessory adapter allows fitting a filter in seconds. An optional controller version offers a Modbus RTU connection, and a variant for the IT industry has a Type F plug and a 20 °C set point.

Selection and what to confirm before ordering
Choose the DTS where the unit can be mounted on the outside of the door and the DTI where recessed mounting is preferred; both are available with the display or the LED controller. The three capacity values describe the same unit at different ambient temperatures: A35/A35 means 35 °C ambient with 35 °C inside, A35/A50 means 50 °C ambient and A35/A25 means 25 °C ambient, so capacity falls as the surroundings get hotter. Compare the heat load with the A35/A50 value of 1200 W for hot sites, and consider the A35/A25 value of 1640 W for cooler locations. The ambient range of +15 to +60 °C suits hot plant rooms, but no low-ambient package is listed for this series, so use the DTI 8000P or DTS 3000 series for cold outdoor sites. About brand
Pfannenberg is the German maker of thermal management and signalling products for electrical enclosures and industry: filter fans, cooling units, air-to-water heat exchangers, chillers, heaters, sirens and beacons. Otto Pfannenberg, an electrical engineer, founded the company in Hamburg in 1954, and in 1958 he invented the filter fan to stop components in control cabinets from overheating. Pfannenberg is still family-owned and headquartered in Hamburg.
