The Advantech UNO-2484G V2 is a member of the UNO-2000 series of embedded automation computers. It is a fanless aluminium box with an 11th Gen Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processor, 8 GB of built-in DDR4-3200 memory and a zero-cable, lockable I/O design that helps keep connectors secure in vibrating cabinets and skids.
The base unit carries four Ethernet ports, four serial ports, three USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.4a. An optional second layer, the UNO-2484G-EKCE stack, adds two iDoor positions so that fieldbus, wireless or extra I/O cards can be added without changing the base computer.
Advantech positions the series as an IoT edge gateway: the box collects data over serial and Ethernet links and passes it upstream, while NVMe storage and 4K display output allow local logging and operator screens.

Ordering codes, expansion stack and accessories
The datasheet lists six base units that differ only by processor and region: UNO-2484G-B731AE and B731AU (i7-1185G7E), B531AE (i5-1145G7E) and B331AE and B331AU (i3-1115G4E). The AU codes are marked for the US region. All have 8 GB DDR4, one M key slot, one B key slot, two mPCIe slots and four COM and four LAN ports in the base configuration.
The second stack, UNO-2484G-EKCE, measures 200 x 140 x 30 mm, weighs 400 g and gives two iDoor slots with four reserved antenna holes. Advantech lists iDoor options such as a 2-port isolated RS-232 card (PCM-24D2R2-BE), a 4-port RS-422/485 card (PCM-24D4R4-BE), a 2-port CANBus card (PCM-26D2CA-BE) and a 24-channel isolated digital I/O card (PCM-27D24DI-AE).
Mounting options are stand, wall, VESA (UNO-2000G-VMKAE) and DIN-rail (UNO-2000G-DMKAE). Power adapters of 120 W and 150 W, a cable lock kit, a remote power and reset kit and thermal pads for a second memory module or the 2.5 Gb LAN chips are also listed.
What to confirm before ordering
State the processor grade, memory size, storage type, operating system image and whether the second stack is needed. Note that the temperature range assumes 0.7 m/s airflow, and that extra RAM needs the thermal pad kit. Advantech warns that optional modules can require additional system certificates in some countries, so ask for compliance details when fitting radio or fieldbus cards.

The ADAM-6017 is an 8-channel analog input module from the ADAM-6000 Ethernet I/O family. It brings voltage and current signals onto a network and is read by SCADA or PLC software over Modbus TCP. The ADAM-4520 belongs to the ADAM-4000 serial family and converts RS-232 to isolated RS-422 or RS-485, a common fix for linking a PC or panel to field devices. Send the full part number with its suffix. Advantech adds letters after the model, as in ADAM-6017-D, to mark the hardware revision, and existing configurations sometimes depend on it. For an IPC chassis, state the backplane, power supply and drive bay arrangement, since these are ordered as specific versions.
