Axiomtek eBOX100B Fanless Embedded System
Description
A Twin Lake N150 box built around serial ports and digital I/O
The Axiomtek eBOX100B uses the Intel N150 quad-core processor (Twin Lake) with 8 GB of LPDDR5 soldered on board, and the same 155 x 110 x 60 mm aluminium case as the eBOX100A. What sets it apart is the I/O mix: four RS-232/422/485 ports on the top, an 8-channel TTL digital I/O connector, two 2.5GbE ports, two HDMI outputs and six USB ports.
That profile fits machine-side data collection, small HMI back ends and protocol gateways. The operating range reaches -40 to +70 C with wide-temperature memory and storage, and the power input of 9 to 36 VDC includes ignition control with intelligent USB power switching.

Where the eBOX100B differs from its sibling
Compared with the eBOX100A, the B model gives up the DisplayPort and the four-port LAN option in exchange for four serial ports, an 8-channel DIO connector and a second HDMI output. Memory is soldered, so the capacity is fixed when the unit is built; the 16 GB variant is a project item. Storage is flexible, with both an NVMe socket and a 2.5 inch bay.
Checks before ordering
Confirm which serial protocol each of the four ports must use, the DIO wiring (the connector is an 8-channel TTL type, so isolation must be added externally if required), the mounting kit, and the 24 V 60 W adapter if wall power is the source. Verify the operating system against the datasheet list of Windows 10 (21H2), Windows 11 IoT and Linux.
How the Axiomtek eBOX100B works
The eBOX100B is a small industrial computer without a fan. Its Intel N150 processor has four cores and runs at up to 3.6 GHz, with 8 GB of LPDDR5 memory soldered on the board. All heat flows through the aluminium case, so there is no fan to wear out or to draw in dust. The box connects to machines through four serial ports that can be set to RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 with automatic flow control, and through an 8-channel TTL digital I/O connector. It talks to the network through two 2.5GbE ports and shows its screen through two HDMI outputs.
Where the eBOX100B is used
- Machine-side data collection.
- Back ends for small HMI screens.
- Protocol gateways between serial devices and Ethernet.
- Edge computing in cabinets and on vehicles, with the wide power input.
- Small control and monitoring systems with serial equipment.

Installation, commissioning and maintenance notes
Mount the box with the kit on a wall, a DIN rail or a panel, and leave space around it so that the case can give off heat. Connect the power input with a fuse, and check that the supply stays within 9 to 36 V DC. Fit the storage and the expansion cards before closing the case, then install the operating system. Set each serial port to the right protocol in the BIOS, and test the digital I/O with a simple program. Back up the system image after commissioning and keep the firmware versions in the records.

About brand
Axiomtek, founded in 1990 and based in New Taipei City, Taiwan, designs embedded systems, edge computing and industrial IoT hardware. Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat, lists Axiomtek fanless eBOX computers and front-access IPC industrial systems such as the eBOX671B and the IPC980, each with the manufacturer datasheet.
Axiomtek product families
The eBOX line covers compact fanless computers with wide DC input, from small Alder Lake-N units to LGA1700 systems with MXM graphics. The IPC line uses a vertical front-access chassis with optional PCIe slot cages for add-in cards, and one IP67 model with M12 connectors. Operating ranges, power input and I/O differ between models, so the datasheet should be read against the application, for example whether a -40 C rating, ignition control or a given number of serial ports is needed.
Ordering Axiomtek systems
Send the full order code including the suffix, plus the processor, memory, storage and any I/O modules or mounting kits. Most systems in the range are ordered without CPU, memory and drives, so those must be specified separately, and wide-temperature parts are sorted through the manufacturer. The datasheet ordering section also lists mounting kits, adapters and add-on modules for each model.
