Axiomtek eBOX630B Fanless Embedded AI System

Description

Core Ultra processing with an NPU in a fanless 60 mm case

The Axiomtek eBOX630B is a fanless embedded AI system built on Intel Core Ultra 7 and 5 processors, covering both Series 1 (155H, 125H) and Series 2 (255H, 225H). Each processor combines CPU cores, Intel Arc graphics on H SKUs and an Intel AI Boost NPU, and the datasheet states support for the OpenVINO toolkit, which makes the box a candidate for edge inference such as inspection, counting and monitoring.

It keeps the same 250 x 170 x 60 mm footprint as the eBOX630A but moves to DDR5-5600 memory up to 96 GB, adds two USB Type-C ports that carry DisplayPort (one with 30 W power delivery), and accepts a supply from 9 up to 60 VDC. Quad display output is possible using HDMI, DisplayPort and the two Type-C ports.

Selecting between the four processor codes

The order codes pair the Core Ultra level with a generation: U5 or U7 in the middle of the code, then the processor number. Series 1 parts are 125H and 155H, Series 2 parts are 225H and 255H. All are 28 W, so thermal design is the same, but compute and graphics grow from U5 to U7. Memory (8 to 48 GB modules), drives and the wireless module are optional items, along with wall-mount and DIN-rail kits and a 24 V 120 W adapter.

Questions to settle before ordering

Define the AI workload and its software stack, because the datasheet names OpenVINO and Windows 11 IoT or Linux only. Confirm the display count, the DC supply (up to 60 V is accepted, which suits some battery and rail systems) and the airflow, since the temperature rating is given at 0.7 m/s. Wide-temperature DRAM and SSD must be requested through the manufacturer.

How the Axiomtek eBOX630B works

The box has no fan. The processor heat moves through the metal case to the outside air, so no dust is pulled in and no fan wears out. The Intel Core Ultra processor runs the software, and its AI Boost NPU handles neural network work for tasks such as inspection and counting. The OpenVINO toolkit helps put trained models onto the box.

About brand

Axiomtek, founded in 1990 and based in New Taipei City, Taiwan, designs embedded systems, edge computing and industrial IoT hardware. Seven Star LLC, an independent supplier in Muscat, lists Axiomtek fanless eBOX computers and front-access IPC industrial systems such as the eBOX671B and the IPC980, each with the manufacturer datasheet.

Axiomtek product families

The eBOX line covers compact fanless computers with wide DC input, from small Alder Lake-N units to LGA1700 systems with MXM graphics. The IPC line uses a vertical front-access chassis with optional PCIe slot cages for add-in cards, and one IP67 model with M12 connectors. Operating ranges, power input and I/O differ between models, so the datasheet should be read against the application, for example whether a -40 C rating, ignition control or a given number of serial ports is needed.

Ordering Axiomtek systems

Send the full order code including the suffix, plus the processor, memory, storage and any I/O modules or mounting kits. Most systems in the range are ordered without CPU, memory and drives, so those must be specified separately, and wide-temperature parts are sorted through the manufacturer. The datasheet ordering section also lists mounting kits, adapters and add-on modules for each model.
