Brand:

DINSE M 330.PLUS Gas-Cooled MIG/MAG Torch

Description

A gas-cooled PlusLine torch for the 300 A class

The DINSE M 330.PLUS is the gas-cooled member of the DINSE PlusLine manual torch family. Rated to DIN EN 60974-7 at 300 A with CO2 and 270 A with mixed gas at 60% duty cycle, it takes wire from 0.8 to 1.2 mm. Inside, it uses the established DINSE 330-series torch technology; outside, it has the PlusLine handle with a rubberised grip, a textured button and a multi-element ball joint.

Because it needs no coolant, it suits workshops and site work where a water cooler is not available, and it keeps the handling of the liquid-cooled PlusLine models.

Handle, joint and configuration

DINSE developed the PlusLine handle with ergonomics specialists to reduce strain on forearm, hand and fingers. The torch is balanced so it does not tip forward, and the ball joint, which moves around all axes and has a kink-protection limit, lets the welder hold awkward positions with little effort. The ball chain can be replaced individually if damaged.

Four button layouts are available and can be retrofitted, allowing current adjustment or program switching from the torch where the power source supports it. The cap and metal ring can be marked on request, which helps track torches assigned to particular welders or procedures.

Gas-cooled or liquid-cooled

The M 330.PLUS covers most general fabrication up to about 300 A. For higher currents, the liquid-cooled MZ 330.PLUS reaches 400 A with CO2 and the MZ 304.PLUS 500 A, both in the same handle and with the same wear-part logic. Gas nozzles, contact tips and diffusers from the 330 series fit directly, so existing stock can be used.

Gas nozzles in different lengths and diameters let the torch be matched to the joint. A recessed contact tip suits spray transfer and longer stick-out, while a flush or protruding tip helps in narrow joints and short-circuit welding. The DINSE trapezoidal nozzle thread is designed for heat transfer and easy removal even after long use. An optional LED in the housing lights the joint in dark areas such as the inside of tanks and frames.

The flexible supply hose and bend protection at the plug help the hose package last in daily use.

Ordering complete spare front ends with the torch, such as a few nozzles, tips and diffusers in the wire size used, avoids stoppages when the first parts wear out.

About brand
DINSE, headquartered in Norderstedt near Hamburg, Germany, develops and manufactures welding torches and systems for manual, robotic and automated welding. The company is widely known for the DINSE coupling, the cable connector found on many welding machines, and for its DIX range of torches, wear parts and wire feeding systems. DINSE works to a quality management system certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Seven Star LLC is an independent supplier in Muscat. We list the DIX MZ 304.PLUS liquid-cooled MIG/MAG torch and source DINSE torches, connectors and wear parts on request.

DINSE product groups

The manual welding range covers gas-cooled and liquid-cooled MIG/MAG torches, including the PlusLine handles for the 304 and 330 series, push-pull torches and fume extraction torches. For automated welding the manufacturer offers robot torches, TIG automation and laser wire feeding. Further groups are plugs and sockets, wire feeding systems such as drum feeders, and spare and wear parts.

Ordering DINSE torches and wear parts: what we need

State the full torch designation, the cable assembly length, the cooling type and the machine-side connection on your wire feeder, either DINSE or Euro connector. Add the wire diameter and material, since liner and contact tip depend on them. For wear parts, send the DIX part name or part number, or a photo of the old part with the torch type.
