Overview
The PRUFTECHNIK VIBXPERT II vibration analyzer is a dual-channel FFT data collector and signal analyzer for route-based vibration data collection and on-site machine diagnostics. It records measurement routes, performs field balancing on one or two channels and analyzes complex machine signals directly on the job site, displaying the machine condition on a backlit color TFT display after a very short measuring time.
The VIBXPERT II vibration analyzer is now part of the Fluke condition monitoring portfolio and is used by maintenance teams worldwide for condition-based maintenance of pumps, motors, fans, compressors and turbines. Engineering & Design
The VIBXPERT II vibration analyzer measures vibration with a frequency range from DC up to 51.2 kHz (acceleration from 0.5 Hz) and a sampling frequency of up to 131 kHz per channel, with frequency response according to ISO 2954. It offers a low-frequency range of 0 to 500 Hz with a resolution of 0.05 Hz for slow-speed machinery analysis.
The instrument is built around an ARM CPU at 800 MHz with 128 MB DDR RAM and a built-in CompactFlash card for measurement storage. The backlit TFT-LCD display measures 116 x 87 mm. Power comes from a Li-Ion rechargeable battery pack (VIB 5.325, 7.3 V) charged from 110-240 V / 50-60 Hz. The VIBXPERT II weighs approximately 1.1 kg and measures 186 x 162 x 52 mm.
The instrument supports acceptance measurements according to ISO 10816 and ISO 7919, letting the user compare measured values directly against the machine vibration severity bands. Measurement data collected in the field is transferred to OMNITREND software for trend analysis, alarm management and reporting, completing the predictive maintenance workflow.
