The ALTAIR io4 uses MSA’s XCell sensor platform, offering combustible gas (catalytic, LEL), oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, methane, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, and hydrogen-resistant CO/SO2 sensor options, each with a typical sensor life of 5 to 7 years depending on gas type. The rechargeable 2 Ah battery reaches a typical full charge in 4 hours and delivers up to 17 hours of typical battery life on LTE-M connectivity.
