Control Techniques SP2401 Servo Drive
Application and model selection
The SP2401 is a frame 2 Unidrive SP drive identified in the Control Techniques servo brochure. The published rating table lists a 380–480 V AC three-phase supply and a typical motor power of 5.5 kW / 7.5 hp.
The continuous and peak current ratings are 13 A and 22.7 A respectively under the table conditions of 40 °C ambient and 6 kHz switching frequency. These conditions matter when evaluating a servo motor and its load cycle.

Installation and equipment scope
Match the motor, feedback system, operating mode and required option modules to the complete drive configuration. A keypad or SM option module should be specified separately rather than assumed to be part of the drive.
Assess enclosure cooling and the actual load cycle against the applicable installation instructions. A family-level mounting option does not establish a protection rating for every installation.
Quotation enquiries
Send Seven Star LLC the complete model reference, quantity, supply voltage, motor nameplate and installation details. Identify any required keypad, communication module, reactor or braking accessory separately. A power rating alone does not establish a suitable replacement.

Control Techniques drive families we list
The Commander C200 is a general purpose AC drive for open loop control of standard induction motors. The Unidrive M701 belongs to the high performance Unidrive M700 group and is the version with RS485 communications on board, the one normally chosen when an older Unidrive SP has to be replaced.Ordering Control Techniques drives and spares: what we need
Send the full model code from the rating label, which gives the frame size, voltage rating and current rating, together with the serial number. Add the motor nameplate data, the supply voltage and a list of the option modules in the drive slots. If parameters must be carried over, keep a copy of the parameter file or the memory card.Browse Control Techniques products by category: AC Drives.
