Control Techniques SKB3400055 AC Drive
Application and model selection
The SKB3400055 is a Commander SK AC drive from Control Techniques. Its original-model row in the manufacturer crossover guide identifies a 400–480 V three-phase supply, 0.75 hp rating and frame B.
The heavy-duty output-current rating is 1.7 A at a 3 kHz switching frequency. Use this original rating when checking the motor and application; the current of a suggested replacement drive is a separate specification.

Installation and equipment scope
Check the motor current, load duty, control method and existing panel space before selecting a replacement. The crossover guide is a starting point for engineering selection; it does not establish universal interchangeability.
Record the existing drive parameters, terminal wiring and fitted options. Include accessories in the enquiry by their own references.
Quotation enquiries
Send Seven Star LLC the complete model reference, quantity, supply voltage, motor nameplate and installation details. Identify any required keypad, communication module, reactor or braking accessory separately. A power rating alone does not establish a suitable replacement.

Control Techniques drive families we list
The Commander C200 is a general purpose AC drive for open loop control of standard induction motors. The Unidrive M701 belongs to the high performance Unidrive M700 group and is the version with RS485 communications on board, the one normally chosen when an older Unidrive SP has to be replaced.Ordering Control Techniques drives and spares: what we need
Send the full model code from the rating label, which gives the frame size, voltage rating and current rating, together with the serial number. Add the motor nameplate data, the supply voltage and a list of the option modules in the drive slots. If parameters must be carried over, keep a copy of the parameter file or the memory card.Browse Control Techniques products by category: AC Drives.
