Allen-Bradley 25B-E3P0N104 PowerFlex 525 1.5 kW AC Drive
Description
A 600V-class PowerFlex 525 for 575V supplies
The Allen-Bradley 25B-E3P0N104 is the 525 to 600V version of the PowerFlex 525, rated 1.5 kW (2 HP) at 3.0 A. The E voltage code is the key to the ordering: this drive accepts 446 to 660V three-phase input and gives up to 575V output, so it is meant for 575V North American style supplies or 600V plant systems.
The PowerFlex 525 adds an embedded EtherNet/IP port and Safe Torque Off, rated up to SIL 2 / PLd, to the 520-series family. Frame A measures 72 x 152 x 172 mm and weighs 1.1 kg (2.4 lb).

Why the E code matters
Many buyers search by horsepower and forget the voltage class. Plants on 380 to 415V should choose a D-code drive, and the 3.0 A, 600V rating is not interchangeable with them. The 600V family in the technical data runs from 0.9 A (25B-E0P9N104) to 32 A (25B-E032N104), and the 3.0 A rating sits near the lower end, in frame A.
Catalog number decoding: 25B is the PowerFlex 525, E is the voltage code (600V AC three-phase), the rating digits give the output current, N is the IP20 NEMA/Open enclosure, 1 is the standard keypad module, 0 is no EMC filter and 4 is standard braking, meaning the brake IGBT is included. Total watts loss is 50 W.
When ordering, also confirm the motor nameplate voltage: a 575V motor is the usual match, and the drive should not be used to supply a 400V motor from a 600V-class supply without checking the output voltage settings. Cable and fuse sizing should follow the 3.8 A input current and local code.
Protection data and use
Input current is 3.8 A with 4.3 kVA. The IEC table lists fuses of 6 to 10 A, a 100-C09 or 100-E09 contactor and a 140M-C2E-B40 motor protector. As with all PowerFlex 525 drives, ground-fault and short-circuit protection is built in, and Class 10 electronic motor overload is provided.
The drive suits small pumps or conveyors on 575V or 600V supplies, and its embedded EtherNet/IP port avoids a separate gateway. The Safe Torque Off function supports guard or e-stop circuits when properly wired and validated by the user.

About brand
Allen-Bradley is the brand of Rockwell Automation for industrial control: ControlLogix and CompactLogix controllers, I/O systems, PanelView operator terminals, PowerFlex drives, motor control and industrial network equipment. The company began in Milwaukee in 1903, when Lynde Bradley and Dr. Stanton Allen formed the Compression Rheostat Company to make the motor speed controller Bradley had invented in 1901. It took the name Allen-Bradley in 1909 and was bought by Rockwell International in 1985. Since 2001 its owner has been Rockwell Automation, which is still headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Reading Allen-Bradley catalogue numbers
The first digits of an Allen-Bradley catalogue number identify the platform, which tells you what is compatible with what. 1756 is ControlLogix (chassis-based, used for large process and plant control), 1769 is CompactLogix 5370 with Compact I/O, 5069 is CompactLogix 5380 with Compact 5000 I/O, 1734 is POINT I/O, 1794 and 5094 are FLEX and FLEX 5000 distributed I/O, 1746 and 1747 belong to the older SLC 500 family, 1766 is MicroLogix 1400 and 2080 is Micro800. For drives, 25B is PowerFlex 525 and 22B is PowerFlex 40; in a code such as 25B-D010N114, "D" means 380–480 V, "010" is the output current rating, and N114 instead of N104 means the drive has an integrated EMC filter. Many plants in the region still run SLC 500 and older MicroLogix systems, which Rockwell has discontinued, so exact spares and migration to CompactLogix are both common requests.
Where Allen-Bradley products are used
In Oman and the GCC, Allen-Bradley controllers and drives run on oil and gas facilities, water treatment and pumping stations, cement, food and beverage and packaging plants, and on machines supplied by American OEMs. ControlLogix is often the platform for plant control systems, while PowerFlex drives are used on pumps, fans and conveyors.

Ordering Allen-Bradley products: what we need
Send the full catalogue number and the series letter from the label (for example 1756-EN2T Series D), because firmware and compatibility can change between series. For drives, add the motor power, voltage and filter option. For a discontinued SLC 500 or MicroLogix part, tell us whether you need the exact spare or a migration proposal.
